Officer Bruce Eckhoff died as a result of contracting COVID-19 while serving at the Sacramento International Airport at 6900 Airport Boulevard in Sacramento.
Officer Eckhoff had served with the United States Department of Homeland Security – Customs and Border Protection – Office of Field Operations for almost 17 years. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, parents, and sister.
