Lieutenant Kevin Pounders died as a result of contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty.
Lieutenant Pounders was a United States Marine Corps veteran who had served with the Hanceville Police Department for 24 years. He is survived by his wife, son, grandchild, and mother.
