Sheriff Robert Craft died from complications as the result of contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty.
Sheriff Craft was a United States Marine Corps veteran who had served 14 years with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and previously served with the Kansas State Highway Patrol for 27 years. He is survived by his wife and son.
